A PrIl 16 On April 16, 1737, Brother DIDACUS of SAINT MARTIN died at the monastery in Puszcza Korabiewska. In the beginning of his religious life he carried out the office of Quaestor, or Collector of Alms. As such he visited the houses of various benefactors, who highly valued him for the spiritual good they derived from their conversations with him. He is buried in the crypt of the Puszcza Korabiewska church. In 1762, Father NORBERT KULESZA (Koo-le-sha), president of the monastery, died at the Goźlin monastery at the age of 60. He was exemplary in his regular observance and boundless trust in Divine Providence, which he acknowl- edged as miraculous. He is buried in Goźlin. In 1864, Father JOHN DRAUGIELEWICZ (Dra-oo-g'elevich), age 54, died at the monastery in Miroslavas. A priest for 24 years, he distinguished himself by his obedience and humility. He is buried at the church in Miroslavas. In 1969, Father BRONISLAUS VITKUS , a member of the American Prov- ince of St. Casimir, died of a heart attack at the house in Marian Hills, Illinois, at the age of 78. He was a religious for 46 years and a priest for 41. For some years he served as a missionary in Argentina. He is buried in St. Casimir’s cemetery in Chicago. In 2008, Father JOHN PRZYBYSZ (Pshee-bish) died at the age of almost 100, at the Religious house of Fawley Court, Great Britain. He was a priest for 68 years and a religious for nearly 77. He served in Kazakhstan, India, the United States, and England, where, along with Fr. J. Jarzębowski, he participated in orga- nizing a boarding school for Polish boys which was eventually transferred to Fawley Court in Henley-on-Thames to become the Divine Mercy College. He was also a co-founder of the MarianApostolate of the Divine Mercy and served as a pas- tor of the Polish Parish in Wales. When the English Province was established, he participated in organizing the religious houses in England and Wales. He is buried in the Fawley Court cemetery. In 2011, Father EDWARD DARAŻ (Dah-razh), a religious of 61 years and a priest of 52, died at the age 82. He worked pastorally at several houses of the Polish Province. For many years he served the pilgrims of the Licheń Shrine. He is buried in Licheń. A PRIL 61
