m ArCh 11 On March 11, 1738, Father VALENTINE RUDNICKI (Rood-nit-ski), a fam- ous preacher, died at the monastery in Puszcza Korabiewska. Although during his religious life he was constantly afflicted with various illnesses, he was nevertheless untiring in his work. He is buried in the crypt of the Puszcza Korabiewska church. In 2004, Father EDWARD RYTKO died in Cardiff, Great Britain. He lived to be 82 and was a religious for 63 years. In 1949, after his theological studies in Rome, he was ordained a priest and then left for England. He fulfilled the duties of an educator, a superior, and a minister among Polish immigrants. He is buried in the cemetery in Henley-on-Thames. m ArCh 12 On March 12, 1753, FatherMARIAN, a Czech by birth, died at the monastery in Goźlin and is buried there. In 1789, Father STANISLAUS MOGIEŃ died at the monastery in Marijampolė at the age of 41. He was much esteemed in for his virtues and excel- lence of character. He was a lector of philosophy and theology for three years and superior of the monastery in Raśna for 12 years. He died six months after being elected General Superior. He is buried in Marijampolė. m ArCh 13 On March 13, 1799, Father ANTHONY DĘBCZYŃSKI (Demb-chin'-ski), 56 years old, died at the monastery in Marijampolė. He was a religious for 39 years. As a lector of philosophy and theology, he was a teacher of Marian youth. He is buried in Marijampolė. In 1814, Father DOMINICMARKIEWICZ (Mar-k'evich) died at the age of 39 at the monastery in Miroslavas. He was preacher of the monastery. He is buried in Miroslavas. In 1831, Father JOACHIM BARTOSIEWICZ , a member of the Marians’ monastery in Raśna, died while fulfilling pastoral ministry in the parish of Bielsko, where he is buried. In 1994, Brother CASIMIROGLĘCKI (Og-len-tski), a member of the Polish Province, died at the age of nearly 85 at the house in Licheń. He was a religious for 66 years, serving the community for over 50 years as a gardener in various houses of the Province and from 1966, in Licheń. For some years he also dedicated himself M ARCH 45
