† A LBUM OF THE D ECEASED F ATHERS AND B ROTHERS † 44 In 1731, Father IGNATIUS of SAINTMATTHIAS died at the monastery in Skórzec and is buried there. In 1785, Father URBAN DYDWALEWICZ (Did-va-le-vich) died at the res- idence in Volpa at the age of 28. He was accidentally killed by an unexpected shot from a small gun he was getting ready to scare off thieves. He was buried in the crypt of the Volpa church. In 1984, Father BOLESLAUS ZAJĄC (Za-y-onts), a member of the Polish Province, died of a heart ailment at the age of 71 in Idolta near Druya. He was a reli- gious for 53 years and a priest for 42. Always animated by an intense missionary and apostolic zeal, he had to remain for many years “outside the community” to minister to the spiritual needs of the faithful in Belarus. He is buried in the village of Miloshevo near Idolta. In 1996, Father JOSEPH DAMBRAUSKAS died in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was 82, having lived 67 years as a religious and 56 as a priest. He served as a superior, a provincial councilor, and as a provincial superior of the St. Casimir Province from 1969 to 1977. For many years, he served as a pastor in the Milwaukee parish and as a vice-postulator for Fr. Renovator’s beatification cause. He is buried in the section reserved for the Marians in St. Casimir’s cemetery in Chicago. In 2013, Father STANISLAUS KLIMASZEWSKI (Klee-ma-shef-ski) died in the 91 st year of his life, having been a religious for nearly 70 years and a priest for 62. He studied at the University of Lublin and served as the Prefect of Students and instructor in philosophy. He spent 36 years in Rome, serving there as general councilor and secretary, librarian, and spiritual director. At the same time, he edited and published thousands of Catholic books which were sent to Poland during the Communist regime. He continued his publishing activity after eventually settling at the provincial house in Warsaw. He is buried in the Marian Fathers’ section of the Wawrzyszew cemetery in Warsaw. In 2018, Brother ROMAN WOLSKI (Vol-sky), a member of the Polish Province, died in our house in Licheń. He was 94 years old, and a religious for 70 years. He was a man of many manual talents who worked in maintenance for our religious houses both in Poland and in Portugal, where he spent 12 years, helping in the renovation of the monastery in Balsamão. After returning to Poland, he served as a sacristan in our parish church in Elbląg. He spent the last few years of his life at the house in Licheń, where he is buried.
