Nursing with the Hands of Jesus

Fifth Glorious Mystery - The Coronation A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. (Rev 12:1) Fruit: Trust in Mary’s Intercession 8. At the end of each set of five Mysteries pray: Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope, to thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears; turn, then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Evangelical Virtues of Our Lady The Gospel’s guiding idea is the imitation of the Mother of God in her virtues of purity, prudence, humility, faith, devotion, obedience, poverty, patience, mercy, and sorrow or compassion with Christ in His Passion. “In the following of Christ, the Immaculate Virgin Mary assists us and shows us the way. From her conception, free from sin and full of grace and filled with the gratuitous love of the Holy Spirit, she is the fruit of the paschal victory of Christ and the first partaker of the redemption. She reveals the creative and salvific love of the Most Holy Trinity; she is the image of the new man capable of a relationship with God and others, the beginning of the new People of God and the seed of a new humanity… By this mystery above all, Mary urges us to trust in the unlimited fruitfulness of the work of redemption, to avoid all sin, to love purity of heart, to imbue life fully with divine grace and charity, and to so build up the Church in unity “that it be holy and immaculate” (Eph 5:27). 92
