ingratitude, of your future heartlessness, of your hatred towards Me, of the rejection — by everyone, who would do this for thousands of years to come of My Sacrifice. Yet, in spite of that, I did not shrink back, because My love for you was stronger than all your present and future sins: it was, and is, endless. “A mother doesn’t hold feelings of ill will against her sick child for its wrongdoings even though the child might be perverse, deceitful, and treat her badly. The child is suffering: that’s enough for a mother to forget about everything except that her child needs her. It’s the same with Me. Nevertheless, when you become ill, when you suffer, when you are in pain and helpless, I Myself, not even waiting for your cry, surround you with My care. I forgive everything and take notice only of your poor condition. And that’s when I offer you a Time of Grace and Compassion. “Everything is possible for Me. I’m the best physician. I want to be at your service with My power, My strength, My courage. I want to fill your loneliness with My friendship. I want to give you hope and the assurance of My Love. The time of suffering, the time of helplessness, of anxiety and of sorrow is the time of My grace. Do you realize, that it is then that you can obtain everything from Me for the asking? Especially when you ask by uniting your condition to My saving Passion, for then we are asking the Father together! “I’d like to take every one of you who’s suffering into My arms and, as gently as possible, while you’re lying asleep on My Heart, to carry you over the threshold of death into My kingdom. When I’m present, death has no power over you; there’s no longer any anxiety or terror. You pass from life to Life with Me in the happiness of never-ending Joy!” 78
